The chosen theme was Gatsby and by referencing the recent Hollywood blockbuster production the styling and theme reflected the roaring 20’s.
The initial part of the evening was styled around 1920’s New York Soho which was extremely avaunt guard at the time and allowed the catering to happen street style with chefs cooking in full view of everyone.
Gatsby girls greeted guests and the iconic saxophonist played atmospheric tunes whilst the guests socialised and discovered dens of iniquity or speakeasy cabaret corners.
Once dinner was over all catering staff, entertainment performers and crew broke into a flash mob routine to stop everyone in their tracks and encourage them through to the spectacular ballroom. In the ballroom Charleston displays were underway and dancing was to begin to the best party band in the UK – the fabulous RPJ band.
This party took place in our client’s industrial barn, so everything was brought in and installed transforming a cold dank warehouse into an opulent Gatsby Mansion.
