Creating a Dream Wedding in Woking, Surrey

When the bride’s parents reached out to us about hosting a large festival styled wedding at their family home in Woking, Surrey, we knew it was going to be something special. After discussing various ideas and options, we connected with the happy couple via Zoom to gather their thoughts and vision directly, as they were living on the other side of the country.

Embracing a Festival Vibe

The couple envisioned a relaxed wedding with a festival vibe. Guests were welcomed by large festival flags lining the driveway, setting an enchanting tone. They then strolled through a charming woodland pathway decorated with bunting to reach the ceremony tent. The intimate ceremony showcased the first of many stunning floral displays adorning our stretch tent marquees. A spectacular circular hanging feature in the dance tent added an extra touch of magic. Post-ceremony, guests enjoyed champagne and canapés under the summer afternoon sun.

Informal Elegance at the Wedding Breakfast

The wedding breakfast embraced a relaxed and informal style, featuring family-style service. Guests shared platters passed along long tables, creating a warm and communal atmosphere. This setup perfectly captured the couple’s vision of a cozy and inviting celebration.

Evening Entertainment and Dancing Delights

The evening’s entertainment was a delightful mix of fun and elegance. A campervan photobooth with a glitter bar added a touch of sparkle, while an ice cream trike served delicious treats. A full-service cocktail bar wowed guests with flaming cocktails, adding an exciting flair to the festivities.

A Scottish Twist to the Festivities

The groom’s Scottish heritage added a unique twist to the celebration with a lively Ceilidh, getting everyone onto the dance floor. The festivities continued with our fabulous DJ Rosie, who kept the party going until the very end.

You did an amazing job listening to R&S’s wishes, their thoughts and their primary voice in the design while all the time keeping close to me and ensuring you never put a step out of place, it was an outstanding piece of client management.

Every single guest loved it…no one went hungry or was queuing or waiting around…in fact completely the opposite…we have been inundated with messages of thanks from guests all basically saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended, even better than their own!
