Our globe trotting Swiss client approached us to organise his quintessentially English stately home 50th Birthday party.
With guests flying in from around the world we needed a venue within easy reach of key airports. Brocket Hall was the perfect choice. Set in fabulous grounds and with over 25 double rooms within the historic property and additional rooms in the annex it met the brief. It proved to be a tremendous setting for a weekend of activities and celebrations.
Guests arrived from 5pm on the Friday and were settled into their suites by the ever attentive butlers. The sumptuous reception rooms provided space to enjoy drinks whilst catching up with old friends. We laid on a rolling supper where informality, comfort and ease helped guests relax into the weekend.
Daytime entertainment was provided with falconry displays, clay pigeon shooting and archery. Alternatively guests could enjoy a round at Brocket’s award winning golf course. Later in the day hair and beauty professionals where on hand to provide a little help with guests evening preparations.
The highlight of the weekend was the magnificent banquette in the Grand Ballroom. This provided the setting for guests to enjoy a beautifully prepared 4 course meal seated around the long prime ministers table. After which they descended into the completely transformed conference room below. We turned this very staid space into a cool nightclub allowing the guests to party into the small hours.
It proved to be a glorious, relaxed, indulgent and stately 50th birthday party for family and close friends
