From the initial meeting it was clear that this was going to be a great party. Music was very important to the client and to be the main focus of this Old Skool Nightclub 40th party. Performances by Hollis Parker, DJ Spoony and Judge Jules were the order of the day to create a night to remember.
A nightclub style space with 80’s as an accenting theme was the brief.
Set in the client’s grounds we created the “clubby” style in a black lined clearspan marquee with teal draping. Being in a more remote area of the property, all services had to be provided including power & toilets. We used off-road buggies to cross load equipment from the closest point of access. With it being November the inclusion of a heating system ensured that the marquee was kept warm for guests to dance the night away.
An aisle of lanterns greeted guests leading them through the lit grounds to the structure. On entering champagne was served to kick the evening off. The internal styling used 80’s props, including the classic smiley face to reinforced the theme. Embellishing the music theme, a custom built CD curtain surrounded the chandelier creating a grand central feature. This stunning piece hung above a mirrored central bar from which guests were served delicious cocktails. As the evening flowed, so did the catering. Substantial canapes kept the guests going through the early stages of the evening. With a beautifully designed cake that was cut and circulated and survivors food rounded off the night.
Everything came together seamlessly to create this Old Skool Nightclub 40th party and just days after the party we received a call from our client and are now putting together their next party.
