After planning our client’s husbands’s 50th celebrations 3 years ago, we were delighted to be asked to organise hers. Same but different is what was requested….another elegant london 50th party.
“We want the impressive stylish garden marquee and your bar tenders are an absolute must but it must look markedly different.”
Unlike some of the large grounds we get to work in, London gardens are a little more challenging to erect impressive structures in that can accommodate 150 guests. We suggested extending the structure over the terrace and incorporating the formal planting into the internal styling. This gave us a lovely feature of 4 trees flanking the impressive bar. We used a clear structure for this area giving a great entrance for the guests.
Soft pastel colouring in the bespoke draping complimented the lounge furniture giving a very feminine feel to the styling of this elegant london 50th party. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception before hitting the cocktail bar for exquisite concoctions for the remainder of the night.
One of the demands from the client was that we bring back our wonderful chef to cater for her party. Along with the exquisite canapés and bowl food he created again, as a late night treat, the Nigerian favourite of Joloff rice and accompanying sides. This provided welcomed sustenance taking guests into the small hours and beyond.
