We were delighted to plan and produce this party, having recently delivered an extravagant festival themed party (one of our all time favourite parties) for the husband’s 50th birthday a few years previously. For the wife’s landmark birthday celebration we were asked to plan a party with a distinctly different ambience.
A quintessentially English summer flower garden party made this celebration very special and truly memorable.
As guests arrived an immensely talented string quartet performed classic and contemporary ensembles to welcome guests to this beautiful and exquisite summer luncheon. A table plan with a difference, in which guests swapped their seat allocation with a Polaroid photo of themselves, provided the host with a fun reminder of the day. A delicious 4 course banquette lunch was enjoyed by everyone, followed by an afternoon of swing with spontaneous dancing to an exceptional jazz band with stunning lead vocal performance.
The glorious grounds of our clients home near Brighton provided the inspiration to create a formal, but not stuffy, party atmosphere. We styled a traditional, open canvas marquee with beautiful table dressings, an abundance of floral decorations, quality furniture and fabulous draping. Top professional entertainment set the scene and stage, sound and lighting were of the highest quality.
Great care, attention to detail and meticulous planning went into making this landmark celebration a success for the party guests and hosts. We very much enjoy working with these lovely clients.
