We were charged with creating a classic warm toned garden party, full of personality and nods to the client’s Indian heritage, while also paying homage to his chosen home of England. We needed to create a family friendly event to celebrate the client’s 70th birthday, in style!
Styling
Keeping the décor natural and calm was essential here so the natural wood and white furniture perfectly complimented the warm summers day. The pops of colour came from brunt orange tablecloths and cushions, and the vibrant oranges in the floral arrangements. The organic shape of the stretch tent perfectly complimented this beautifully manicured garden, bringing the greenery inside. The Oxshott garden on top of a hill boasted views in one direction over to London, and in the other over the surrey hills, providing natures own stunning backdrop. Even the loos had a view! This Oxshott location truly captured the essence of a relaxed, elegant garden party.
The Experience
As guests walked into the garden they were greeted by a vintage pimms tricycle immediately setting the scene for this relaxed Oxshott garden party. After canapes circulating and guests catching up around the bar, a gorgeous Indian buffet was laid out for guests to enjoy while seated around elegantly decorated round tables, inviting conversation surrounded by nature. The floristry on each table was beautiful, a classic fishbowl decoration with oranges and purples, tying the different spaces together. A perfectly relaxed afternoon party for our client, providing a summer oasis just off the bustling Oxshott high street.
The Challenges
Luckily for us, this was a nice easy job, the only problem being where to place the luxury toilet trailer! When that’s your biggest worry you know you’ve got a stress free event!
